Movo Terms of Use

In short. Movo is a tool for organizing and tracking your workouts. It is not medical advice and does not replace a professional. You are responsible for training safely. Your data is yours, and you can leave whenever you want.

1. Acceptance and who can use Movo

By creating an account or using Movo, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Movo is for people 18 years of age or older. You represent that the information you provide is true and that the account is personal and non-transferable.

2. What Movo is

Movo lets you log and plan strength workouts and other activities, track your progress, connect with friends and challenges, import activities from Strava, and use artificial intelligence features to suggest workouts, plans, and adjustments. The service is operated by Andre Durso ("we", "us").

3. Health and safety notice

Movo and the AI's suggestions are for information only. They are not a medical diagnosis or prescription, nor nutritional or professional fitness advice, and they do not replace a professional.
Before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have an illness or injury, are pregnant, take medication, or have been inactive for a long time, consult a doctor.
The AI can make mistakes: weights, sets, exercises, and adjustments are suggestions that you must evaluate. Stop immediately if you feel severe pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or general discomfort, and seek medical care.
You assume the risks inherent in physical activity. Use common sense and respect your own limits.

4. Your account

Access is through a link or code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for everything that happens in your account. Let us know if you think someone accessed it without permission.

5. Rules of use

You agree not to:

use Movo for anything illegal, or to harm, harass, or expose other people;
try to access data from other accounts, get around limits, exploit flaws, or overload the service;
use bots, automated scraping, or reverse engineering to copy the service;
submit content that you cannot legally share (for example, third-party data without permission) or that is offensive;
resell or offer the service to third parties without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or put the service or other people at risk.

6. Your content and your data

The workouts, measurements, and notes you create remain yours. You authorize us to store and process them only to operate Movo for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can download a copy or delete everything in Settings → Your data.

The app, its brand, design, and code belong to Andre Durso and are protected by law. You receive a personal, limited, revocable license to use the app, with no right to copy or redistribute it.

7. AI features and usage limits

AI features have usage quotas (per day, week, or plan) to keep the service sustainable, and they may become unavailable or change. Results are generated automatically and are not guaranteed to be accurate.

8. Third-party integrations

When you connect Strava, you authorize Movo to read your activities. Your use of Strava is governed by Strava's own terms, and we may stop relying on it if it changes its rules or its API.

9. Paid plans (if and when they exist)

Movo is free today. If we begin offering paid plans, the prices, what is included, renewal, and cancellation will be clearly disclosed before you sign up. For purchases made at a distance, the 7-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) applies. You will be able to cancel through the app itself or through the store where you subscribed. Price changes will be announced in advance and will apply only to future renewals.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We do our best to make Movo work well, but it is provided "as is". There may be faults, interruptions, maintenance, and changes to or discontinuation of features. Keep a copy of your important data (you can download it at any time). If we shut down the service, we will give reasonable advance notice and let you download your data.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries, harm to health, or losses arising from the use of the workouts and suggestions, from decisions you make based on them, from data loss caused by technical failures beyond our control, or from the unavailability of third-party services. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including the rights that Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) guarantees you.

12. Termination

You can stop using Movo and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if these Terms are violated or if required by law. When you delete your account, your data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Movo after that means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, you can delete your account.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the consumer's place of residence are chosen to resolve any dispute. Questions, requests, and complaints: contato@movoapp.com.br.
